weekly disc golf connection
Last week at PAR-TWO:
Thanks to Chuck Custer for helping with the baskets that were needed in Introduction to Disc Golf in Orient, OH. The event was a success, everyone who played liked it a lot, however the number of people that turned out was not as high as predicted. The course was made easier on the second day due to the thick undergrowth and the long times to find the discs. Luckily only two discs were permanently lost, but many more took up to 35 minutes to find. It is likely that PAR-TWO will have another event in the same location, to generate more attention to the sport. Our goal is to get a permanent course installed and to be self sufficient, which includes cutting the grass.
This week at PAR-TWO:
I have decided to make this a weekly newsletter on a weekly basis, I will try to summarize the upcoming week at PAR-TWO Disc Golf Society, provide a summary of last weeks events from the various TDs, and include information on upcoming events.
